Today Was a super hot and sunny day but we enjoy the beautiful views. if you’re coming only for the lighthouse I recommend you to park in the first parking lot that way you don’t have to walk too much

The recently renovated lighthouse is a great place to visit! Amazing views of Key Biscayne and the Miami skyline. Very small so they only let a few visitors up at a time. Leave a donation!

HISTORY

This lighthouse, completed in 1825 and rebuilt in 1846 after being damaged during the Second Seminole War, is Miami-Dade’s oldest standing structure.

At the end of Key Biscayne, this State Park has miles of beach, picnic area and a the lighthouse. Go early and leave early, if you are go are going on the weekends to avoid traffic on the causeway.

Make sure to get a lighthouse passport and get it stamped at each lighthouse you visit! Bring water. Very hot!
