Definitely do the audio tour or guided tour as there is no information posted. Bring water and wear sunscreen but there is a shop at the top of the old castle that sells waters and snacks if needed.

Take water, hat, comfortable shoes and clothes. Don’t forget to take camera or phone to take amazing view of the city and Castillo. Also take the chivas named la corroncha tour guide very nice.

Worth the trip for sure. Amazing views of the city. Souvenir shop at the top will have water and beer, if you need it.

It cost 17000 pesos to enter the castle. The history and the view of the place are really nice, buttons I thought that there were more to see.

Get an audio guide or join a tour guide. It an incredibly interesting spot with so much history and great colonial wartime architecture.

The latest entrance is at 6 pm. You can stay until 7 pm and avoid the heat and crowds and have the castle for yourself.
